Funnyeggs, welcome to the Boards! We love new members. Actually we love all of our members. I just noticed by the time stamp you are either a night owl, or an EARLY riser! I'm a night owl myself!
Huh, that's weird. The time changed. Oh well. Welcome again!

Thanks for the warm welcome:)
I actually just went in to the CPanel and changed the time, lol......its now 10:00am here....
Ive never been one to cut coupons, Ive aimlessly walked through the grocery store and just threw in the cart whatever "looked good".....Ive realized with the help of a neighbor that I have been throwing away hundreds of dollars each month doing this...kinda stupid.....but now Ive ordered the SUnday paper, looked through circulars and then...found THIS wonderful place that seems to organize all the info for you:)
Im really excited to get started..I still havent used a coupon yet, IM trying to figure out the best way to get started on this plan...?????

Thanks for confirming I'm not crazy yet! As far as getting started, always read the game rules. Trust the list. It is right 99.9% of the time. If an item on the shelf is not marked on sale, but it's on the list, take it to the checkout anyways. As far as being organized, a lot of us started out with coupon caddies...and outgrew those in a couple of weeks! A lot of us use 3 ring binders to sort and organize our coupons. But whatever works for you is great~we love hearing new ideas! Also, I clip just about every coupon in the paper. Even if you think it's an item you won't use, you'd be surprised what you are willing to try if it's free! LOL:rolleyes: Always ask questions! We love to answer them!

Hi Funnyeggs
(funny name--how did you come by it?)
The old pros are steering you right. Sign up for the list at thegrocerygame.com, make sure you get all of the lists available in your area because they're all included in that buck trial for the first 4 weeks. Read the Game Rules for each store--they're different for each store.
Decide upon the organization method that's going to work best for you--some folks clip all coupons and put them in binders. Others simply file inserts away by the date they came and pull and use coupons as they come up on the list and still others hybrid the two methods to find something that suits them.
Come to our boards--ask questions of old pros and don't be afraid to ask for clarification wherever you're confused. We have a reputation to uphold as the nicest board on the 'net. We love our newbies!!
So glad you found us--to a very bountiful future, friend!

Hi Funnyeggs!
If you're like me, you'll have so much fun with your lists (even before you get to the store) that you won't mind all the inserts hanging around your binder or your folders!
The hardest part for me now in getting my coupons together is turning the pages in my inserts because I've cut so many of the coupons already!
