.06 a diaper!!

oh i just had to share!! i was asked last minute to help my son's bake sale tomorrow and had to run out to my non list store to get some baking needs...while i was there....(had my dd in the sling and my older dd in the cart) the sweet cashiers came up and started oogling at baby dd in sling...and said to me "hey, we have a 'cute kid deal' on diapers today' ...i said 'really??? how so??" and low and behold they had this cart load of name brand mushy diapers in all sizes marked down down down!

i got one MEGA pak mushy size 1 for $6.50!! and a store brand jumbo for $3.!
i was soooo thrilled! Don't you just love when things like this happen!!:D :D

oh yeah! forgot to mention...had a $1. off Q for the mushy brand which brought it down to $5.50!! woohoo!

did cvs have a promo on diapers last year???? i am just now fully realizing the CVS experience...i can only imagine what that would be like if i saw some diapers in green with ECB promos to boot on my list....i think i would NEED a diaper on myself if that ever happens!

I just ran out of my CVS diapers too!! Actually the sizes my DD grew out of early are now fitting DS!!! I'm using generics to save a buck!!

Although, I only did the deal once; that last time in December. And we have twins ...

That's AWESOME!! One of my co-workers went to CVS the other day and her diapers for a Jumbo Mega pack of like 68 diapers were marked down to $3.50 a box! She got the last two boxes and used both of her $3.00 coupons. So she got 136 diapers for $1.00!!!! She was so excited to come into work the other day to tell me. We did the calculation and determined that she paid less than a penny for each diaper!!! I'm so proud of her!!!

did cvs have a promo on diapers last year???? They did and it was awesome. I only caught it the very last time.

They had a year-long promo (and all of this is IIRC, so bear with me if I'm wrong) of when you bought 5 packs of their diapers, you got an "ECB" for a free pack of diapers. Well, every once in awhile, they had a BOGO sale on their diapers, and the "free" ones counted toward the free package you'd get.

So here's what I did:
Bought and paid for 20 packs of diapers (around $80 because of the BOGO sale)
2 days later, went and bought 8 packs of diapers and paid nothing (BOGO, then had 4 ECBs for free packs)
2 days later, went and bought 4 packs of diapers and paid nothing (BOGO, then had 2 ECBs for free packs)

So I ended up with 32 packs of diapers and only truly paid for 10.

It was a sad day in this house when we found out they weren't running that Buy 5/ Get 1 promo this year!

Good times the diaper days of CVS. I only had one only lonely CVS store in my city at the time so only bought 14 packs all in, I believe, but actually only paid for 5 of them!

Shelbalah...I found that compared to others (I purchased size 4s for my son one time) they were a little bit bigger than what he normally wears (White Cloud or Pampers)....but they worked fine and actually even better at night b/c he's a heavy wetter....
