My list store has a great deal on tub margarine. I would like to buy several and I have the coupons to do it, but how can you store tub margarine? Does it have a shelf life? I'd appreciate any help before I buy. Thanks. :)

I've been using margarine that was frozen and I can't tell the difference at all...and neither can anyone else in my family of six. :)

I freeze country crock with no problem. I did try the smart balance and it didn't work very well, it seperated when I thawed it.

It seems like everything I buy of theirs separates.

I've used a lot of previously frozen Smart Balance and it was completely normal. I guess it just varies.

The Smart Balance has a LONG shelf life, like a YEAR in the refrigerator. Just look on the tub for the expiration date. HTH

Freeze it! I tried for all 70 but only ended up with 21 Land O Lakes back in May and I still grab one here and there from the freezer. Just give it a day to soften up a bit.
I figured this would be about the free mushy margarine at one of the list stores this week. Too bad I don't use margarine. Thought about donating it.

It's actually a little better than free. Great overage towards the pasta sauce at my store that's almost free.

I hear you. I've got 49 tubs so far. The week isn't over yet, though. LOL!

Wow I thought I had alot with 20!!! I'm still trying to figure out how to give it away. So far I've come up with breakfast baskets (pancake mix, syrup, etc). I still have enough q's to do this deal 3 more time, but I'm down to 1 pasta sauce q :( So maybe shampoo and margarine.
