Spent $22 for shelf value of $66 and that is 67% savings. I still have one more store to go to tomorrow and have some needs there so I expect my percentage to suffer a bit.

Happy Shopping!

So far I've done 1 of 3 CVS trips, and my weekly HEB trip.

HEB:
Shelf: $163.61
Paid: $95.82
41% and included need items as well.

CVS:
Shelf: $103.96
Paid: $18.36
82% and I have $80 in ECBs coming back to use when the list comes up tuesday.

I love CVS - and it's only my 2nd week shopping there!

I had a pretty great day today in the LOLD (just my 4 doubled coupons up to 50 cents).

Safeway: shelf 51.66, paid 14.82. 71% savings plus I earned 10 cents off per gallon of gas. I just realized this week that the 50 bucks purchase requirement is before the club savings & coupons. Yay!

Albertsons (2 stores): total shelf: 103.67, paid 35.41. 65% savings. I still have to try back tomorrow morning for the mushy deodorant, but on the plus side the cashier at the 2nd store I tried mentioned what a great deal I was getting with my coupons. This is the first time so far this has happened, but it's only been 3 weeks that I've been following the list. Most have been pretty indifferent so far, but this wasn't my usual store.

Walgreens: shelf 19.69, paid 7.85, 60% savings. Just picked up a few things.

This is my first week averaging above 60%. I love this game!

I am so excited by my shopping for this week. Don't keep track of percentages, etc. anymore, just what I'm spending. Between my list grocery store and CVS I spent a grand total of under $25 so far! That included 6 beef roasts, 16 boxes of pizza rolls, 4 pkgs of frozen dinner rolls, and 16 pkgs of frozen veggies. I have another trip to the grocery store tomorrow (they restock Mon. nights) to pick up more free pizza rolls and a few trips to CVS during the week. I also need to get some fresh produce at Sam's. I'm guessing that I'm going to come in for the week at no more than $40. Incredible!

Well, I haven't posted in this section in sooooo loonnnnggg. I went shopping last night because we are going camping to the desert this weekend so I desperately needed food. I used the list to get stuff from there, but I also need other things as well. So I went through my coupons and pulled ones of things that we needed. Most everything that I purchased I had a coupon for.

Shelf around $114.00
Paid $63.30

I believe that is 56%. Not to bad for on the fly shopping.

From one Walgreens transaction:

Shelf $102.82
(After rebates come in) spent $5.17

I don't actually count the rebates in my spreadsheet until they arrive, but I just had to calculate these totals from this awesome trip and report in.

Here's what $5.17 can buy at WG:

6 boxes cereal
4 jars peanuts
1 box crackers
4 boxes food storage wrap
1 large bottle conditioner
1 expensive pain reliever
1 large antacid
1 toothbrush
1 package cough drops
2 packages razors

This is my fourth week with GG and I spent $70.15 on items with a shelf value of $227.25. I saved 70.18%. That is including needs items as my stockpile is limited - lots of health and beauty and pads - low on food at the moment! My deals for the week have been free spaghetti sauce, free salad dressing, free popcorn, free pads and tampons and free makeup.

On a funny note... we do not have a cat and since I am allergic to their hair, I HATE cats. My coupon train had a q for free cat food so I picked it up. DH was seriously questionning the sanity of this game until I reminded him that our pastor had just adopted a stray. Well..... the purchase generated a catalina for free cat liter so guess what the pastor gets this Sunday??? Now mind you, I have a dog and have never once gotten a dog product catalina!

Okay, Melanie--CONGRATS on the 70%+ after only 4 weeks--that's amazing.

Even more amazing is your kind generosity to your pastor. That's just cool. Thanks for sharing the wealth, GG style!

This is all pending the double-dip situation at RA being fixed, otherwise I'll return the make-up.
