Global Bazaar? - Page 3

So I checked it out today & now I see what ya'll are saying! It looked really cheapish in a strange way for Target. Mabye we'll hit some good clearance deals.

I"ve never paid a whole lot of attention to Global Bazaar. Now you all have peaked my interest. NO!

I was in Target the other day, walked back to the "Big Sale" section and was absolutely stunned by the similarity to WM. I mean, stopped in my tracks, stunned. I do NOT approve! It wasn't the Global Bazaar stuff, just the everyday household goods. Really though, I hope Target rethinks the need to make itself look like something it's not. I shop at Target because it's Target. If I wanted the "warehouse feel," I'd go to Sam's Club! Sheesh.

I didn't pay much attention to the section when they were clearing out the Christmas stuff. I'm headed there tomorrow so I guess I'll see what you saw. Like somebody else said, maybe it will make for a good clearance when it's over lol

The worst move Target could make IMO but of course they didn't ask me. I am very sad that Global Bazaar won't be back this year. But I guess they have to make money. I hope this is just a testing the waters thing.

And no one buy any of this so they don't make it permanent, okay? : )

I saw the "walmart type" set up at my T yesterday. Very disappointed in how it looked. I won't be shopping in that area. I have no desire to see that area do well.

I was at Target today for the first time since December (Shocking I know!) and I didn't see Global Bazaar at my store. They had some lawn furniture but that's it. I also saw some bulk items. I wonder if its just a store by store basis.

I didn't mind the 24pk of Cokes on sale this week since nobody else is having a sale and I didn't have time to make a trip to the Commissary. Otherwise I'm avoiding that spot.
