Default Safeway Canada Customer Appreciation Day. I never knew!!!
I found out today that the 1st Tuesday of each month is Customer Appreciation Day at Safeway. I've only been shopping at safeway for a little over a month, so I had no idea. You get your choice of 10% off your final total, or 10x Airmiles.

I took the 10% off, which made my savings 45%. Lucky me!

I don't believe the Safeway stores here in the US offer anything like that!

I hope my list is REALLY good the first week of the month from now on!

This is the week I was supposed to keep it to NEEDS ONLY to get back on track with my budget, and I already hit 2 stores today and spent $168

I'm really curious why only Safeway Canada stores get this... I'm going to write to head office and ask why we don't get it And suggest I'll be changing to Fry's if there is favortism is going on LOL

Letter typed up and ready to send out... worth a try right Considering their prices are generally higher on most items for what I can get at Fry's... We'll see if they even respond back...

That would be favouritism, in this case.
